Vice President of Community Impact

Full Time, Exempt

 

 The Vice-President of Community Impact will oversee United Way of Central Minnesota’s (UWCM) Impact Areas. This person will lead and collaborate with the Directors and staff in Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, Healthy Community, and Community Resilience to manage and grow the impact of UWCM’s work in our service area. The Vice-President will also lead the Investment Process, both internally and externally, while also working with Resource Development to effectively share impact stories and information with donors and stakeholders. This person will lead research and implementation of grant submissions and awards, working with the Vice-President of Finance, Grants Manager and Director of Data Integration as well as within Impact Areas to seek funding for Impact work in the community. In addition, the Vice-President will supervise initiatives within UWCM including 21CCLC, ALICE, 211, Imagination Library, Children’s Savings Program, Banks in Schools, Navigator Network, and “Safety Net” programming and funding.

We seek a motivated self-starter with an interest in non-profits and making a positive impact in the community. This position will assist in various social service task work within the Community Impact department.

Resource Development Intern

Unpaid Fall, Spring, or Summer Position

We seek a motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter with an interest in non-profit fundraising who can work well with others and fill an integral role in our Resource Development department. This position will be supervised with direction from Resource Development staff. This is an unpaid position.

Marketing/Communications Intern

Unpaid Fall, Spring, or Summer Position

United Way of Central Minnesota is focused on creating measurable results in the areas of Basic Needs and Education. We seek a creative, motivated self-starter with an interest in non-profits and making a positive impact in the community. This position will assist with content creation, marketing materials, social media, event planning, and branding.
