United Way of Central Minnesota's Young Leaders United (YLU) group is made up of like-minded, similarly-aged individuals who come together to share a vision of empowering ourselves and bettering our community. We are diverse professionals whose joy for service and passion for progress reverberate throughout the causes we undertake. Additional activities include:

Young Leaders United is business in the front...with a little bit of party in the back. Yes, it’s true, you'll get invited to networking happy hours, beer/wine tastings and bowling socials but these events are used to gather input and plan our school reading programs, volunteer days at the food pantry or evenings delivering hot meals to seniors.
Ultimately, Young Leaders United is your chance to join other changemakers. We procure luncheons with CEOs, speeches from successful entrepreneurs and leadership training sessions to help you take the next step in your career.
