Out-of-School Partnerships Administrative Assistant
What do you do at United Way of Central Minnesota?
I work at United Way as the Youth Opportunities Administrative Assistant. I help maximize the ability to improve people's lives by supporting the administrative daily work of the Youth Opportunities impact area with a large focus on our out-of-school time initiatives, key support dedicated to the 21st Century Community Learning Centers grants, and the Youth Opportunities team. I am the one preparing out-of-school contracts with our partners and central MN school districts. I also, help with the preparation of monthly budgeting and invoicing. I love to be able to help! What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
I love that I am able to work with so many great people! I love the variety of duties from working within United Way, to partnering, and working with the school districts with the goal of students' successful futures. I am compassionate to have the ability to work within United Way and taking part of making our community a wonderful place.

I love reading! I enjoy a heartfelt and inspirational story. My all-time favorite read is Counting Miracles by Nicholas Sparks.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
My favorite is cherished time with family! I enjoy watching my son play baseball and spending as much time I can get with him. We as a family enjoy our summer seasonal get away up north on the weekends. I absolutely love a warm cup of coffee in the morning snuggled up with our two dog fur babies Libby & Roxie. Some of my hobbies are gardening, golfing, and reading. My husband and I love traveling, cooking, and watching a great movie together.
What is one thing on your bucket list?
To travel and see other cultures. The world we live in is a beautiful and amazing place. I would love to see and experience more of it!
