Call 2-1-1 . It’s free, confidential, and is available 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week.

The first step to finding help is knowing who to call.  9-1-1 is for emergencies.  4-1-1 is for directory assistance.   And now, 2-1-1 is for community health and human resources. or 1-800-543-7709

  • Do you need assistance paying you rent/mortgage, medical bills, utilities?
  • Do you need food, clothing, or other items for yourself and family?
  • Do you want to find a good daycare center or after-school activities for your children?
  • Do you want to volunteer or donate, and you don’t know where to start?

People make eight calls on average before finding the right program to help them! Many people give up before they find the help they need. 2-1-1 is one phone number to get or give help in your community.

United W a y 2-1-1 provides callers with information about and referrals to human services for every day needs and in times of crisis.  United Way 2-1-1 can connect you to resources dealing with family counseling, housing assistance, food, health services, legal help, transportation, child and senior services, volunteer and donation opportunities and many more!
